Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's Grand Junction depot is located at 4119 Cromwell Road in East Chattanooga, Tennessee. Grand Junction is the departure station for most museum trains, including the Missionary Ridge Locals, the Chickamauga Turn trips, and the Dixie Land Excursion Specials such as the Autumn Leaf Special or the North Pole Limited. Downstairs in the depot is a gift shop, waiting lounge, ticket office, and cafe. Just outside the station are the museum's larger display yard and storage tracks, and the depot itself is surrounded on all sides by a wye on which most trains are turned in direction for the next trip. Grand Junction depot was completed by the museum in 1983 and is loosely based on the design of the Southern Railway station in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
